The Interwar Period
With the signing of the Treaty of Versailles (and various other treaties), WWI came to an end. However, the ramifications of these treaties were, as John Maynard Keynes would say, "one of the most serious acts of political unwisdom for which our statesmen have ever been responsible.”
He was right. The Interwar Period, while in some aspects seen as the "Golden Years," saw a rise in tensions and radical ideologies across the globe.
